So I'm weird. Get over yourself. I am not generic; I am not the norm. For crying out loud, people really don't change between elementary school and post high school. I will get henna tattoos even if I know I'll have an allergic reaction because I like the way they look. I will let my friend cut my hair at two in the morning because I am not attached to the dead cells that only seem to improve my appearance because they're shiny. I will argue with teachers about dangerous topics because that is my right. I will sing in the shower for absolutely no reason at all.
To anyone mainstream who thinks they might get along with me - here's a heads up: you don't know me well enough.

See Breaking the Habit by Linkin Park.
Re: whomever inspired this post. I wish you joy of the wildness that is life in all the ways that are yours (without truly harming yourself, of course.)
Your comment about dead cells recalls the tour-guide's words to us- he pointed to these people at a gym who were occupied with running on treadmills and said, "Check out the human hamsters!"
I thought you'd appreciate that.
wait, why am i looking up a drug song? i'm confused ...
No, it's not a drug song. It's a fascinating music video with beautiful anime art (and I don't like anime, so it's very surprising I like this.) It's the colors that are most interesting. It's really about breaking any bad habit, more than a specific drug.
Okay, I admit- it is a drug song. But I didn't realize that until now. How odd. I was thinking about it in terms of its chorus, and not the other imagery.
Well, it's a GOOD drug song. So you can still listen to it. ;)
;-) i personally prefer numb
Oh, I like "Numb" as a song, but it's the music video that's compelling about this one. :)
Those are the only two Linkin Park songs I like.
Have a very, very happy Thanksgiving!
I don't think I understand your *hint hint* reference...
